![]() ![]() Upon completing this task, you should be able to uninstall GShade properly to avoid leaving potential malware on your PC. Luckily, the community also has your back on exactly how to get this done safely. If you have yet to uninstall GShade and want to make sure that your presets work in Reshade, the easiest way is to backup your relevant GShade folders. How to backup your GShade presets for ReShade You will also find instructions on how to use the files in ReShade. A lot of other links only contain presets, which is not enough to get them to work without the proper shaders and textures. Maybe like 1-2 fps, nothing thats going to affect anything unless youre running at 20-30. If you find yourself in this situation, the community has created a Google Drive Link that contains a pack with the various textures and shaders many popular presets utilized in GShade. Mine has little to no performance hit, but of course, it doesnt have any heavy effects (you cant leave most of those on while playing, as they interfere with the UI). This is an issue as there is no means to restore them once they are gone. All the shaders and textures are also included, make sure that ReShade detects them in your ReShade menu. Neneko gameplay basic is my go to because it has a good balance of graphics and speed. ⁍ The base presets use a combo of auto-blur (ADOF) and mouse-driven focus (cinematic DOF) you can toggle off the mouse-driven focus if you like, it just gives a nice customizable blur to the scene Adding to that, Neneko has a ton of different presets for game play and and gposes alike. ⁍ You can drop a light over your character's shoulder for some interesting glow ⁍ Use spotlights from a distance when necessary for a subtle highlight or color ![]() ⁍ Look for interesting lighting backdrops indoors, and look for dappled lighting to stand in outdoors - ambient light looks better in game than harsh spotlights from gpose ⁍ Experiment with making the character wet it anamnesis for a soft sheen (depends on scene lighting) ⁍ Use the "manual brightness adjustment" slider To bring a 'StageDepth.fx' texture in the front (like Layer.fx) put the depth value to its maximum. To toggle on/off textures, check/uncheck the shaders named 'Layer.fx' and / or 'StageDepth.fx'. ⁍ They use MXAO, which can cause shadows in certain hairstyles Install the textures inside the 'Textures folder in your 'reshade-shaders/Textures' folder. ⁍ They have a lot of light artefacts and bokeh ⁍ They are mostly for portraits/closer shots ⁍ They are screenshot presets only and they are beefy and can cause your framerate to drop I've been asked a few times to share, so here they are!
